Plaza Oaks Swim Team Mission

Plaza Oaks Swim Team's mission is to to provide a safe, friendly, and cooperative educational sporting experience that focuses on training, enjoyment, and good sportsmanship.

Our community swim team is made up of approximately 190 children between the ages of 4 and 18 from neighborhoods in the Rummel Creek community.

We compete in the Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference, which includes 13 swim teams from the Memorial/Spring Branch area.

The need

Since the last upgrades to the pool over 20 years ago, many of the operational components of the pool have reached the sunset of their service to provide and maintain a safe community pool. With repairs imminent and with the support of the Plaza Oaks Club, the newly formed nonprofit organization, Plaza Oaks Swim Team, has launched a $200,000 capital campaign to address critical infrastructure issues and make beautification enhancements. We envision a facility that not only provides a home for the beloved Piranhas Swim Team but can also be enjoyed by families and individuals for years to come.
